SHOWDOWN Show held at West TN Ag. Pavilion on the UTM campus. The show will start at 3:00 PM. Cattle must be registered by 12:00 Noon. We will start with Ring 1 - Buckles will be given for Breed Champions. Ring 2 will start 30 minutes after Ring 1 and exhibitors will receive cash prizes. There will be a Judge for each ring. At the end of the conclusion of Ring 2 they will join together in making the pick for Supreme Champion Female. Plan on tying cattle to the trailer and generators are recommended. |
SHOW CAMP This camp will educate youth about the show circuit and beef production. The camp is four days long, starting Wednesday, June 6th to Saturday, June 9th, 2007. Students will stay in the dorm and will be provided meals by the University Cafeteria or the UTM Students. There will be several prizes given , such as show supplies and buckles. The Champion Camper will receive an aluminum blocking chute. All youth will need to bring the heifer or steer they will be showing this summer and the feed and equipment needed for your animal. Entries are due May 1st, 2007. The fee is $250/student, open to ages 9 to 18. After May 1st the fee is $300. |
